Noho
North of Houston Street and nestled between SoHo, Greenwich Village and the East Village, NoHo is a neighborhood of people heading to other neighborhoods. Big-box retailers and pedestrians walking to surrounding neighborhoods line NoHo’s two main avenues, Broadway and Lafayette. Although NoHo lacks the well-defined personalities of its neighbors, its under-the-radar, exclusive loft apartments and location are advantages over SoHo’s tourist-packed streets and Greenwich Village’s clustered apartments. NoHo might be the hub through which people reach other neighborhoods but its unassuming nature is its greatest draw.
