Designed by the renowned architect Rosario Candela, it was built in 1931 by Fred T. Ley Co., Inc. The many small apartments and the façade with its minimal ornamentation were a reflection of the economy at the time it was constructed. The neo-Georgian building has a two-story rusticated limestone base and has a wide band course with set-in-marble balustrades. The upper stories are red brick. This 11-story-plus penthouse has 67 units, ranging from two to six rooms. Additionally, there is a duplex. Pets are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
