Discussion about
Can anybody recommend in interstate moving company? Small apartment, going from Connecticut to Manhattan. Thanks.
flatrate
Agree with Julia. FlatRate is good.
Rainbow movers - I have used them 4 times, and I have friends that have used them as well. On time, reasonably priced, and nothing broken. As good as movers get - the same guys have worked there for years - very happy with them.

Keith Richards moving company. Decent rate, good drugs.
And big tit.
flatrate was on very high end of quotes i received, used oz- they were pretty good
Just had a great experience with Arthur Werner, every one is going to have issues with someone but they exceeded expectations (no damage to anything, wore the little booties over shoes when moving in to the new place).
If you want to play games and feel as if you are getting a "deal" go with Flatrate....
They will give you a high estimate and see if you bite b/c it is a "flat rate"...
If you decline, you will receive a call a week later with a lower figure...
and another call with yet an even lower figure... and another... and another... until 2 days before your move date when you will get a figure that is 60% of the original one - which was still more than I ended up paying using another mover.
That was my experience.
Thanks for responses. Anyone have experience with Shea Movers?
OZ They are professional and I have given them many referrals without any complaints.
Try http://www.divinemoving.com or by phone 866-668-7666 You should get a very good price if you move before the 31st.
Good Luck!
We have used Shea 3 times in the past 5 years and are preparing to use them again next month. We used them to move from DC to Brooklyn and then within BK. Bryan will come to your house and give cap estimate that we found to be better then competitors. The company is family owned and we have recomended them to all of our family and friends who too have had nothing but positive experiences.
