Can anyone break it down for me? While I mostly come to Streeteasy for education from the likes of NWT, Front Porch, KeithB, Urbandigs and Inonada, I frequently find myself reading the banter among some of the other regulars for the sheer entertainment of it. What is the history between these folks, and are there alliances among them? E.g., do Aboutready and Alanhart typically agree? Do Huntersburg and Columbia County ever agree? etc.
It's been suggested that Columbia county and Huntersburg are one and the same
I also find NWT to be the most informative

It started with bull/bear years ago, pretty clear lines... but as numbers came in over the years, and the bulls sorta changed their tunes (for most, without admitting error), this got shattered a bit, with the center sort of turning on the extremes on both sides (stevehjx, stevef, who both left the board, ericho, LICC). And some of these specific rivalries popped up...

i grew up on 5th ave, springs at the everglades in palm bch, or in hobe sound, summers out east at the stone, hunt in millbrook (fox/bird), Christmas at courchevel or stratton in lean years

I've been a positing for about a year but have used SE longer. I don't think RE in NY is a good investment unless you have a long time horizon. I don't have an agenda, but will call out the BShitters that do. Especially if they are wrong. I find this se "talk" informative and entertaining, so I contribute.. a lot of the times, I admit, nonsense., sometimes not.
