David Tobon

Utilizing his degree in business management and his experience as a residential broker, David Tobon is not only one of the founders of BLU Realty Group, but also one of the innovators behind the firm’s state-of-the-art BLU Cafe. David’s leadership at BLU Realty Group has not only brought the firm to the forefront of the New York City luxury real estate market, but it has earned both David and the firm recognition from some of the industry’s top publications. This includes being showcased in The Real Deal publication where the innovation behind BLU Realty Group was highlighted and David along with his four co-founders were praised for their unconventional commission-split model, the company’s cultivated professional image and their rapid climb to the top of the luxury real estate market.

Not only has David been hailed as being one of the top five real estate entrepreneurs under 40, but he has also seen a great deal of praise from his clients who have benefited from David’s innate pragmatism and business savvy and who have made outstanding real estate purchases under his guidance and advice. Known for establishing long-lasting relationships with his clients and connections built on trust and professionalism, David has mastered the art of understanding the needs of his clientele and exceeding their expectations with every transaction they make. His elite clientele consists of business leaders, public figures and many legendary celebrities, including rockstar Steven Tyler and actor and comedian Robin Williams.

With vast experience in the business and a progressive real estate career that includes a title as the top broker on Riverside Blvd and a position owning one of the fastest growing real estate companies in New York City, there is no denying that David Tobon knows the NYC market. However, his ties to NYC are rooted in more than just real estate experience. David was born and raised in New York City in Queens after his family moved to New York from Colombia. After a brief hiatus from the city where David played baseball at the University of Indiana Tech on a pitching scholarship, he returned to his home town to help others in love with all that the city has to offer, find their dream homes.

David resides in New York City with his wife, Shirley, and his daughter, Grace Noelle.
