She is passionate about the arts, cooking and the environment. A native New Yorker and third-generation New Yorker; even her grandparents met on MacDougal Street. She is a graduate of CUNY with a degree in Education, member (and avid player) of The National Mah Jongg League and is a trained cook. She is a participant with her co-op board, elected officials and local community board.

She has a wide network of resources from international tax attorneys, board presidents and mortgage bankers to contractors and architects.
