Prior to joining The Corcoran Group, Maureen completed two successful careers. The first was Director of The Brooklyn Heights Montessori School where she honed her organizational, communication and counseling skills. In her second career, Maureen transferred these skills to the insurance business where she received many national sales awards.

While Maureen was running her insurance business, the Montessori School asked her to return as a Trustee, eventually becoming the Board President where she headed up a successful $4.5 M capital campaign to expand the School.

After 22 years, Maureen sold her insurance business, returning to Columbia University where she attained a Certificate in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. Her volunteer work in this field took her from the UN Secretariat in Manhattan to Bangkok where she worked with people from all over the world.

Not the 'retiring' type, Maureen happily joined The Corcoran Group where she draws on all her past experience to help real estate clients reach their goals in buying or selling their home. Her mediation and negotiating skills help to deal with small issues before they become larger 'problems to solve.'

Maureen wants her buyers and sellers to feel expertly guided and cared for, secure in the knowledge that all details will be managed efficiently. Finally, she wants her clients to be HAPPY with both the financial and emotional rewards that this significant experience brings!
