Ann Cutbill Lenane, known as “Annie Gets It Done,” is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Douglas Elliman, working from its Upper West Side office at 1995 Broadway. Licensed since 1983, she has more than 40 years of experience and well over $2 billion in career sales. She represents sellers and buyers of co-ops, condos and townhouses across Manhattan, with a focus on Central Park West, Riverside Drive, West End Avenue and Lincoln Square.

Ann was Douglas Elliman’s No. 1 Manhattan agent at every Ellie Awards from 2020 to 2026. The Real Estate Board of New York gave her its Residential Brokerage Agent of the Year Award in 2018, and RealTrends named her to “The Thousand” in 2026, with 52 transactions and $167.7 million in 2025 sales. Her recorded sales include 271 Central Park West for $17,750,000 and 88 Central Park West 8S for $13,315,000.

Pricing and preparation. Ann prices each apartment against what has actually sold in its building and on its block, and she tells sellers honestly what will help and what won’t. Her team handles the details: movers, a handyman for paint and repairs, staging, and professional photography and video. Buyers get the same hands-on approach, from the first showing through the co-op or condo board process to closing. Her motto: “No job is too big or too small. Let Annie Get It Done!”

Marketing. Ann was one of the first Manhattan brokers to advertise on screen. Her “Annie Gets It Done” commercial ran in movie theaters for 14 years before moving to New York City taxis, which The New York Times covered in 2024. She is regularly quoted in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, has been profiled by Bloomberg, and has appeared on HGTV’s Selling New York and Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City.

Community. In 2020 Ann founded ONE BLOCK, an Upper West Side nonprofit that employed formerly homeless New Yorkers to clean the neighborhood’s streets. It collected more than 250,000 bags of trash before closing in December 2025. She also founded Wise and Wonderful Women, a community of about 3,000 women aged 45 and over that gathers for monthly dinners. She serves on the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Committee and the Love Rocks NYC Advisory Board, and supports Sanctuary for Families and Candlelighters NYC. With her two daughters, she founded a literacy summer camp in the Bahamas for children with learning differences. She has received the Heart of the West Side Award and Douglas Elliman’s Team Player Award.

“I get tremendous satisfaction walking down almost any street and seeing the lights on in an apartment of a family that trusted me to guide them home. After all these years, I still believe I have the most rewarding job in the world.”
