Sales have launched at the Aaron, a new, 17-unit condo development at 236 17th Street on the corner of Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn’s Greenwood neighborhood. Three units are now listed for sale, with prices ranging from $699K to $1.625 million.

Developed by Nicholas G. Malafis and Ioannis D. Glyptis, with design and interiors by Tom Winter, this boutique condo building contains a mix of 1-to-3-bedroom apartments that range in size from 648 to 1,495 square feet. Interiors feature high ceilings, modern kitchens, open floor plans and high-end appliances.

Building amenities include a landscaped roof deck with Manhattan and harbor views, a residents’ lounge, pet grooming station, gym, parking (available for an additional cost), and bicycle storage.

#2A is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom unit with 1,424 square feet: $1.625M

#2B is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit with 1,022 square feet: $1.1M

#2C is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit with 648 square feet: $699K

The name of this new development comes from Aaron’s department store, a fixture on the corner for 40 years prior to its closing more than a decade ago. The building aims to attract a wide variety of residents with several different layouts. Sales are being handled by Citi Habitats.
