Here’s a whopper of a listing you’ll never see on Airbnb: A $26.5 million penthouse in the heart of SoHo that carries monthly common fees of $12,400.

The listing at 350 West Broadway, not so ironically, comes courtesy of Laurence Tosi, the former Blackstone Group CFO who’s heading west to take over operations at Airbnb. The home-rental listing service is based in San Francisco Bay, so it was time for Tosi to kiss Wall Street goodbye. The listing is held by Michael Chapman of Stribling.

According to the New York Daily News, Tosi bought the 5,912-square-foot condo and promptly went to work on a massive renovation. The 4-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom apartment also sports 1,400 square feet of terrace space and a rooftop plunge pool. He bought the place in 2012 for $17,564,812, so he’s looking to recoup his remodel investment, at least. It will take that kind of cash for Tosi to find comparable accommodations in one of the country’s most expensive housing markets.

Of course, since Tosi is going to head up what surely is Airbnb’s initial public offering, there’s clearly greener financial pastures ahead for this Wall Street-turned-Silicon-Valley money man.
