The price: $511,200

The median asking price for a home in Greenwood was $1.5 million this July, according to the StreetEasy Data Dashboard. That means our Deal of the Week is priced at about a third of the median asking price for the neighborhood!

Buyers who put down a 20% down payment of $102,240 can expect to see monthly payments of $3,245. This includes a mortgage payment of $2,607, common charges of $311, and taxes of $327. Monthly prices are even lower than the neighborhood’s median rent, which sat at $3,825 this July.

Why you’ll love it…

The unit benefits from a wide open floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows, which keep the space feeling airy and bright. White tile floors throughout also create a sleek and clean vibe. Through a glass-paneled door you’ll find the unit’s private balcony, which faces away from the street. At about 32 square feet, it’s the perfect size for a small patio set where you can enjoy your morning coffee, read a book, or catch up with a friend.

The kitchen has a breakfast bar with space for two barstools. Plus, there’s enough room for a small dining table if you prefer to have options. White quartz countertops, white sleek cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances offer a modern look. Appliances include a double-door full-size fridge with freezer drawers, and a full-size oven with a range. There’s even extra cabinetry above the fridge and oven for more storage space.

A stacked Bosch washer and dryer are tucked away in the entryway closet, so you won’t have to worry about lugging laundry in and out of the unit. The bathroom, located off the living area, has a similar white and gray color scheme as the rest of the home. It also includes a white floating vanity and soaking tub. To top it all off, the unit has central air conditioning and heat — and very low monthlies.

The condo is situated in a 2025-built elevator building with a fitness room and rooftop deck. Commuting to Manhattan is easy with a nearby R stop on Prospect Avenue. The F and G are about a half-mile away. But if you prefer to drive, the building also has a parking garage. Located right off Fifth Avenue, you’ll be surrounded by restaurants, bars and cafes — everything from pizza joints to cocktail bars. And Greenwood got its name for a reason: sprawling Greenwood Cemetery is just a few blocks away, and the southeastern edge of Prospect Park is located within a mile.

…and why you might not

While the unit does include a washer and dryer, it does not have a dishwasher. The machines are also in a closet without much additional storage space around them, but with the fairly large living and sleeping area, you’ll likely find other solutions. So if you’re in the market for a sizable studio in Greenwood, be sure to check this one out!
