We officially have our first look inside the condo conversions in the Flatiron Building. While several units were sold off-market this past fall, two have now been listed publicly for sale on StreetEasy, including 175 Fifth Ave. #6-NORTH. The price is steep — like, $18.9 million steep. A second unit listed for $16 million is also available. And the listings, which are expected to be move-in ready come fall, include the first interior photos of the condos.
Take a peep at the final product of this much-anticipated conversion, and what it’ll be like to live inside one of NYC’s most iconic landmarks.
The conversion

In case you missed it, the famous Flatiron Building was purchased by real estate developer Jeffrey Gural for $161 million in 2023 once the offices inside it had been sitting empty. The Brodsky Organization and the Sorgente Group have since led the conversion of the building into luxury residential condos.
The condo interiors were designed by Studio Sofield, and from the look of the listing photos, they did a fantastic job. So if you want to see what $18.9 million gets you in one of the city’s most photographed buildings, read on.
The condo
Take a peek inside a $18.9M condo in the Flatiron Building.
For starters, this 4-bed, 4.5-bath condo clocks in at an astonishing 4,654 square feet. To add to the sense of grandeur, it also boasts 10-foot ceilings. Part of the conversion was replacing all of the building’s windows, and the new ones are oversized and numerous, so they’ll let in lots of light from multiple angles. When the sun goes down, buyers can enjoy the new Ketra lighting system by Lutron. This state-of-the art system allows users to adjust brightness, change the light temperature, and program on/off times.
You’ll enter the unit through its own entry vestibule with direct elevator access. This vestibule is decked out in marble mosaic flooring and stone finishings, and opens to the unit’s foyer. It’s giving penthouse — though the actual penthouse in the building has yet to be revealed.
The enormous great room spans more than 1,600 square feet, meaning it could easily fit many standard Manhattan apartments inside with room to spare. This listing lacks a photo of the great room in full, but if the other listing is any indication, it’s a great room indeed. The unit’s location at the front of the building also gives it a perfect view of Madison Square Park, as well as Broadway and Fifth Avenue.
The great room also houses the kitchen, which is outfitted with a huge island and several more windows. Sleek metal cabinetry and Gaggenau appliances bring the touches of luxury one would expect in a Flatiron condo.
Down the hall from the foyer, the primary suite includes a spacious bedroom, a bathroom, and a very generously sized, windowed walk-in closet. The bathroom features a huge freestanding tub, a separate shower and water closet, and two incredibly spacious vanities standing on opposite ends of the room. Check out the door to the W.C., paneled with fluted glass — very chic. The other three bedrooms each have their own en-suite bathroom with heated floors.
To top it all off, there’s a separate service entrance to a utility room. Here, you’ll find not one but two sets of washers and dryers, plus a laundry sink.
The building
When the conversion is completed this fall, the building will feature a fitness/wellness center with all the works to rival even the most luxury of gyms. Of note are a 60-foot lap pool and separate fitness areas dedicated to private training, strength training, and cardio. Residents can also enjoy a sports simulator, lounge, cold plunge, and sauna. A mezzanine-level billiards room and piano lounge will offer views of Madison Square Park and Fifth Avenue below, and wine cellars and additional storage will be available for purchase.
We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for the rest of the units when they come to market, and be sure to take a peek at the south-facing unit that also listed recently.
Check out the listing at 175 Fifth Ave. #6-NORTH, listed by The Flatiron Building Sales Team of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
