Geraldo Rivera is aiming to get a broader perspective. The longtime TV personality and his wife, Erica, have bought a 40th-floor condop in the building at 45 E. 89th Street for $5.6 million, according to 6sqft.

The couple have been married 11 years and have a 9-year-old daughter and own a riverside property on the Hudson in Edgewater, NJ that boasts a view of the George Washington Bridge. Now they’ll have a view apartment on the Upper East Side’s Carnegie Hill section overlooking Central Park. The combined unit is 2,500 square feet and has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and, while not a penthouse, is on the top floor of the 40-story high rise.

According to Variety, Rivera and his wife already own a unit in a lower floor of the building for which they paid $3.4 million.
