With our parent company, Zillow Group, StreetEasy is invested in strengthening local communities in New York City and helping to ensure that all New Yorkers, regardless of their socio-economic status, have a place to call home.

Zillow Group’s Social Impact Program

Through the company’s social impact program, Zillow Group is working to address challenges around housing insecurity and homelessness. The goal is to support individuals and families who are often just one paycheck, one medical event, or one unexpected expense away from being homeless. 

The company has pledged up to $5 million in cash and in-kind contributions to support this goal through a variety of initiatives, including community partnerships across New York City.

Over the last three years, StreetEasy has supported the following local organizations:

  • Covenant House New York: A shelter serving young adults ages 16-24 facing homelessness or human trafficking.
  • WIN: A provider of shelter and supportive housing for New York City homeless families, especially women and children.
  • Room to Grow NYC: An organization that provides material goods and in-kind services to low-income families.
  • Neighborhood Housing Services of Brooklyn: A community development corporation serving neighborhoods in central and southern Brooklyn.
  • BKS: A network of early childhood education centers located in NYCHA housing developments throughout Brooklyn.
