The Park & Tilford Building at 100 West 72nd Street is a six-story Renaissance Revival cooperative on the southwest corner of Columbus Avenue, in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by the celebrated firm McKim, Mead & White and completed in 1893, the building was originally constructed as a flagship grocery store for the luxury purveyor Park & Tilford. The New-York Tribune called it at its opening “a decided architectural ornament to the neighborhood.
