About
This Jacobean-style former mansion at 1025 Park Avenue between 85th and 86th Streets is one of the most remarkable and has been subdivided into 11 cooperative apartments. It is also half a block north from another attractive former mansion, the former Lewis Gouverneur Morris house. This landmark building was designed by John Russell Pope in 1912 for Reginald DeKoven, a composer who wrote “Robin Hood,” the 1890 light opera. This pre-war elevator building has 5 floors and 11 apartments in total, and some units enjoy a beautiful balcony.
