About

Ideally Located between 88 – 89th Streets, 1082 Park Avenue is a prewar cooperative that was built in 1887 and designed by the architect Frederick T. Camp. It was originally used for commercial space and is still regarded as the “Dutch Girl Cleaners” building as it has retained a grandfathered business. In 1925 Augustus N. Allen a well-known New York City architect converted the façade into a neo-Florentine style. In 1979 the building was converted into 1082 Park Avenue Corporation.
