About

Designed by Buchman & Deisler, the Beaux-Art style brick and stone townhouse was built in 1899-1900 and has landmark designation. The 5-story, one family home i was one of a row of homes they designed for the block that year. Originally 7006 sq’, an extension was added on the south side, increasing it to an 8000 sq’ home. The main entrance to 114 is crowned with lion’s heads atop the pillars, along with a decorative curved balcony and leads into a wonderful gallery with a large fireplace, while the 2nd one brings you into a gallery/mud room connected to the kitchen.
