About

115 East 36th Street, is charming brownstone from the mid-1800’s located in the heart of the Murray Hill Historic District between Park and Lexington Avenues. This landmarked 24’ wide Italianate-style townhouse was constructed in 1858 as one in a pair of similar residences with 113 East 36th Street by developers Kennedy & Haw. In 1880, this building served as the private home of Colonel Louis Fitzgerald and would later be occupied by John Bouvier III, father of Jackie Kennedy.
