About

Nestled within the Central Park West historic district, this narrow but very handsome building, with highly decorative neo-gothic design, is one of several white terra-cotta buildings that were developed by Edward West Browning.

The building was designed by Buchman & Fox and was erected as the Earlton Studios in 1915. At 13 stories, it was unusually tall for its time and was also revolutionary in its multi-family housing concept.
