About
Located on the northeast corner of Lexington Avenue and 94th Street, the building was designed by the architects and brothers George Blum and Edward Blum in 1925. This was the fourth and last building they designed in Carnegie Hill. This brown-brick with limestone base, 11-story building was built by Charles Mayer and incorporates many Gothic elements in the design. Most of the lines have wood-burning fireplaces. In 1981, the building converted from a rental to a cooperative now known as 1435 Tenant’s Corp.
