The Beaux-Arts-style building at 15 West 68th Street was constructed between 1909 and 1910 for owner William and Julia Price Erdmann as a single family residence. It was designed by architects Buchman & Fox, and is six stories high (plus basement) with a four-story extension on the rear. The building has a limestone façade, with a slate-covered Mansard roof and copper-clad dormers at the fifth story.
