The Carnegie Plaza Residences at 162 West 56th Street is a classic pre-war condominium apartment building of 63 units occupying the southeast corner of 7th Avenue and 56th Street.

The building was built by developers Bing & Bing in 1925. It rises 16 stories tall including several penthouse units which are not visible from the street. The façade is composed mostly of red and brown bricks and includes a two-story limestone base. The building was converted to a condo in 1987 and consists of 1 and 2 bedroom units.
