About

187 Hicks Street, at the corner of Hicks and Pierrepont Streets in Brooklyn Heights, was built in 1901 as the Florence Court Apartment Hotel. Designed by Frank S. Lowe in the French Renaissance Revival style, it replaced the historic McLean mansion and was commissioned by prominent builder Louis F. Pease.

The building later transitioned into a pre-war cooperative residence, now offering 29 two- and three-bedroom units across seven floors.
