About
20 Greene Street is an authentic 7-story elevator loft building located in the heart of SoHo. In 1880, the building was originally designed by architect Samuel Warner and constructed as a warehouse made of masonry bearing walls with wood joists and wood flooring and included cast iron structural columns as well as a highly-ornamental cast iron façade. The building is a part of the SoHo Cast Iron District which was designated by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1973.
