About

This landmarked building, which sits on the corner of 8th Avenue and Lincoln Place, was inspired by the Ca d’Oro on Venice’s Grand Canal and was built in a romantic style Venetian Gothic architecture by the famed New York architect Francis Kimball. The distinguishing features of the building are the intricate terra cotta ornamentation, Quatrefoil windows and pointed arches, stained glass windows, Montauk Indian friezes and the red Spanish tiled roof.
