About
The Captain Joseph Rose House is an icon of the historic Seaport District. As the city’s 3rd oldest building, it played many roles throughout it’s storied past before becoming the charming condo apartments of today. Originally built circa 1773 by Joseph Rose as his private residence, it was converted to commercial space in the 19th century and used as a cobbler shop, apothecary, and then a boarding house before the civil war.
