About

This charming red brick, pre-war, 5 story, mixed use, walk-up building in the Historic South Street Seaport District was erected in 1881 by the prominent New York City contracting firm of Giblin and Lyons. The cast-iron storefront with cast-iron columns supporting a cast-iron architrave with cornice combined with the six-over-six window sashes enhanced by the molded stone window lintels and dentilled brick cornice lends to the feeling that this building has been frozen in time.
