About
The building at 32 Washington Square West was originally built for the Washington Square Holding Corp., which was solely owned by Maurice Deutsch. Deutsch & Schneider were the architects. The fifteen-story building at 32 Washington Square West is faced with red brick and features terra-cotta ornamentation and trim. The base is enhanced by a series of coupled, two-story Corinthian pilasters surmounted by a cornice stringcourse. Atop the stringcourse, decorative urns in low relief further adorn the structure.
