Built in 1918 and designed by George H. Wells, this building is one of Jackson Heights original garden apartment cooperatives. Originally names the garden apartments it was officially changed to the Greystones a few years after it was built. The Greystones encompass fourteen 5 story walk-up buildings Located on the East and West sides of 80th Street between 35th and 37th Avenues, there is no 36th Avenue. The Greystones have a beautifully block long garden with large trees and plenty of green space.
