29- 31 East 9th Street, a three-building Co-op, is one of Greenwich Village’s most elegant and sought after prewar buildings.
29, 35, and 45 East 9th Street were designed in 1925 by architect Harvey Wiley Corbett of Helme & Corbett Architects; which was one of the three firms hired to design The Rockefeller Center. Harvey W. Corbett, who also designed the iconic Co-op at 1 Fifth Avenue, lectured at the Columbia School of Architecture from 1907 to late 1930’s.
