About

17 Sylvan Terrace is a 3 story townhouse on the famed historic landmark of Sylvan Terrace located across from the Jumel Mansion Museum and surrounding Park, where President Washington resided in the 1700’s. Sylvan Terrace was named after the Latin word ‘Silva’ (forest), due to the fact that it was a wooded alley leading to President Washington’s house. The original cobblestones and lanterns have been meticulously maintained.
