About

Built in 1929, 433 West 34th Street is a pre-war building designed by architects Sugarman & Berger in the art-deco style. Developer Samuel Allen erected the twenty-story tower, originally named Haddon Hall, for a mere $750,000. Located between 9th and 10th Avenues on the far west side of Manhattan, the approximately 200 apartment units became a co-op in the 1980s after serving
rental tenants for nearly 50 years.
