Located on the corner of 37th Street and Park Avenue is a lovely Pre-War Cooperative boutique building that was built in 1940. The building was designed by George Pelham Jr. one of the city’s leading architects of pre-war buildings. It originally was built as a rental building and then converted to a co-op in 1972. The building has a red-brick façade, with a broad limestone bandcourse on the 4th floor. There are roughly 120 apartments and 17 floors, comprised mainly of studios and one bedroom apartments.
