508 East 6th Street

In 1984 an energetic group of New Yorker’s identified and decided to purchase a building at 508 East 6th Street, in the East Village. Fortunately, the six parties all came together with different backgrounds and a diverse set of skills enabling them to design and re-build what was then a derelict structure. They re-built #508 from the basement up and created an entirely new structure. Only the front façade remains from the original building that dates to 1900.
