About
Designed by J.E.R. Carpenter, this grand 13 story apartment building on the southeast corner at 66th Street was erected in 1912 and converted to a cooperative in 1946.
Built for Spencer Fullerton Weaver, who was also the developer of 630 and 640 Park Avenue, the 635 Park has a finely detailed, light-brown brick façade in Italian-Renaissance-palazzo style that just hints at the spectacular full floor original layouts which featured a 30-foot-long living room, a 27-foot-long dining room and an 18-foot-long salon.
