About
This industrial chic, classic red brick and cast-iron storefront built in 1888, was once home to the infamous Mudd Club. This underground haven was the nexus of art, fashion, and music in the late 70s and early 80s. Stars such as David Bowie, Grace Jones, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michael Basquiat, Madonna frequented this nightclub and Keith Haring curated an art gallery on the fourth-floor. Today the building is a boutique 5-unit condominium with direct-keyed access via the elevator.
