828 Gerard Avenue

828 Gerard Avenue is a well-established self-managed pre-war cooperative building. It was built in 1924 by the Finnish group of people with the help of architect C. Scahefer Junior. It’s a solid and beautiful building of brick and cast iron that is 6 stories high containing 48 units. Most of the units have gracious layouts with windowed kitchens and baths, hard-wood floors and high ceilings. There is no elevator. It is a pet friendly building that does not allow pieds-a-terre.
