About
Originally constructed in 1920 by the Fred F. French Company, 910 Fifth Avenue was designed in Italian-Renaissance-palazzo-style. The decorative elements on its facade and a very attractive, large, enclosed driveway and curved walkway on 72nd Street make this building an iconic Central Park Coop.
The building’s limestone facade was stripped away in 1959, increasing the number of apartments up to 49. The rebuilt structure had 16 floors instead up from 12, and a large, attractive and rather glossy lobby replaced the driveway on 72nd Street.
