Built circa 1912 “The Brookford” is a charming neo-Renaissance apartment house designed by famed architects Schwartz & Gross. Noted for its facade’s tripartite composition of brown brick, stone, and terra cotta, it gave inspiration to several neighboring buildings that followed in the ‘20s and ‘30s.
