About

The Portsmouth, made up of twin Queen Anne style buildings constructed by Ralph Townsend in 1883, is part of a three building cooperative on 9th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. Located in the coveted “Gold Coast” area off lower Fifth Avenue, all residences have at least one fireplace.

On the border of Greenwich Village and the West Village, 50 West 9th Street is ideally situated to enjoy some of the most highly acclaimed dining, shopping, and attractions in the City, and is also in close proximity to public transportation.
