In the late 30’s a stunning Art Deco building was constructed on Broadway across the street from Ft. Tryon Park in Hudson Heights.

The 6 story elevator building was designed by Horace Ginsbern, a famous architect of the era. His vintage collection of hand drawn plans of the building is stored at the Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library in Columbia University.
