About

Turner Towers is a grand art deco 24 hour doorman building of 200 units. It is one of very few buildings in the city that are true “tenant sponsored coops”. The tenants organized and bought out a usurious landlord in the 1980s, sold the apartments to themselves for very low figures, and all the money that was accrued from the sales went back into restoring the structural integrity and grandeur of this building.

The ballroom-sized elegant lobby is beautifully restored.
