Henry Hershkowitz

Hershkowitz joins Compass as a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Over the last ten years, Henry and his partner Heather McDonough have sold over $1 Billion in residential real estate in New York City including new developments 15 William, 166 Perry, 123 Third and Related's esteemed 520 West 28th Street project by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid. His honest, no-nonsense style, acute legal knowledge and fierce professionalism make him the person you want on your side of the deal.

A passion for design led Henry to act as general contractor while building several businesses and renovating multiple NYC apartments and historic upstate homes. Throughout, he developed an arsenal of the city's finest interior designers, contractors, architects, and craftsmen contacts.

Henry received his BA from Columbia College and JD from NYU School of Law. Prior to becoming a real estate broker, he practiced law on Wall Street, opened acclaimed restaurants and movie theaters, and was Executive Creative Director of an iconic American brand. A caring and patient man, Henry lives in the Village with his husband and their thirteen year old twins.
