Laurie Gilmore

Known for combining an innovative, artistic mind with a determination to deliver top-level results, Laurie Gilmore is a hardworking and loyal representative who goes above and beyond to find the most agreeable outcome for every buyer and seller she represents. A resident of New York City for the past 30years, Laurie knows the neighborhoods of downtown Manhattan inside and out, and always stays abreast of new developments in the market. She treasures living and working in the West Village, which makes it easy for her to remain up-to-date on the landscape there and in surrounding neighborhoods. Laurie keeps in constant contact with every client she represents, always eager to share new information, while her insightfulness and follow-through ensure that her clients are always equipped to make well-informed decisions.

When she’s not scouring the streets of Manhattan, Laurie is an award-winning actor with a long list of stage, film and theatre credits, as well as a theatre producer with an impressive roster of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Her success as a producer set the stage for her role as a real estate representative. “I’ve been a negotiator seeking out good investments for years, and love to find creative solutions to seemingly impossible problems,” Laurie says.

Originally from Upstate New York, Laurie earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MFA in acting from the University of California at San Diego. She gives her time to several charitable organizations in the city, including Puppies Behind Bars, Earth Matter NYC, Stockings with Care, Habitat for Humanity, Bideawee, and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Kids Walk. Laurie served on the Board of Trustees at Corlears School.
