Michael Sandak

Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, Associate Broker Michael Sandak has spent virtually his entire life in and around New York City. His unsurpassed market knowledge has led to him being named the preferred broker for several large international companies, a role that has enabled him to cultivate relationships ranging from celebrity clients and presidents of major organizations to prominent leaders in finance and the CFO’s of two major sports franchises. Above all, these experiences and relationships have provided Michael tremendous access, which in turn has enabled him to capitalize on unique opportunities for all types of clients.

Prior to joining Compass Michael spent nearly 10 years at two leading Manhattan real estate firms, where his award-winning Sandak Group was consistently recognized on the firms' monthly top producers lists. A skilled professional who listens carefully to a client’s wants and needs in order to maximize their time and the efficiency of each transaction, Michael has built a strong business around his loyal clients and the steady stream of referrals they send his way. Prior to real estate, Michael worked in the music industry, as a DJ, and even as a tennis pro at a local Country Club. At the University of Maryland and Rutgers University, Michael studied psychology, sociology and business.
