Before moving into real estate, Ned honed his skills as a sales and marketing executive in the technology sector, where he spent more than two decades handling high-stakes transactions for global clients. He understands that every customer is unique, that each situation is different, and that grace and good humor go a long way in the face of ever-changing markets. "What's exciting about real estate is that it takes advantage of everything," says Ned. "It also allows me to get to know people on a deeper and more personal level."&nbsp;</div><div>A native Southerner, Ned moved to New York after college, and has since spent decades exploring the city's nooks and crannies, from pocket parks to leafy side streets to intimate eateries. "Research is critical because it helps you understand what you're seeing," he says, "but there's no substitute for legwork, for asking good questions, and always seeing the city with fresh eyes."</div><div>In his free time, Ned loves exploring the city and its surrounding areas on foot or on his bicycle, and cooking and entertaining at his apartment in Chelsea. He's an alumnus of Northwestern University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He's proficient in Spanish and Portuguese and has a genuine "chef's eye," a quality his clients really appreciate when looking at kitchens and dining spots. Ned also holds Culinary Arts &amp; Management credentials from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
