Joe Tirone

Joe Tirone (ft. ABC News, Bloomberg, Yimby, NY1, NPR, SI Advance, Industry) is the founding broker for Compass Staten Island Real Estate and leader of The Joe Tirone Team. For over 20 years he's been known for residential real estate and most recently recognized for his leadership with shaping the vision of Staten Island Waterfront New Development. Joe is also a philanthropic and influential outreach advocate to his local communities on Staten Island. Achieving top 1% of REALTORS® nationwide, Joe has been selected to serve on the 2022 Business Issues Policy Committee for NAR®. Joe also served as ambassador for the 2021 Housing Summit by SIEDC where he hosted NYC female powerhouse, Carol Lamberg (Housing Settlement Fund), as a panelist for his affordable housing initiative. Joe has also served as an Executive Board Member for SIBOR and Board Member for NYSAR during his career. He recently co-founded SImagines, a non-for-profit organization that strategically advocates for workforce housing on Staten Island and receives ongoing recognition for his response to COVID-19 emergency supply needs as well as his 2013 response to Superstorm Sandy. He is a SIBOR Community Service Award recipient and was recognized by the Staten Island Advance as one of the Top 10 Most Influential People for his past efforts. Joe is a proud member of The President’s Society at Pace University where he earned his BBA in Accounting, as well having membership in the McLaughlin Society at St John’s University, where he earned his MBA in Finance and has since taught economics as an adjunct professor. Joe fiercely advocates for individuals with intellectual disabilities and regularly supports The Grace Foundation and A Very Special Place. His 20-year affiliation with The Travis Roy Foundation and their support of spinal cord injury survivors research, you will find Joe donating, fundraising as well as competing as a pitcher at their annual Wiffle Ball tournament in Vermont. Most importantly, Joe is the proud father of three daughters and plays an active role in each of their lives.
