Ben Gernandt

There are very few brokers working in New York City today who possess the knowledge base, expertise, and breadth of experience as Ben Gernandt. A 22-year veteran of NYC real estate, Ben enjoyed 13 successful years at Corcoran as an award-winning broker who frequently ranked in the top 1% of brokers nationwide. Today, Ben is excited to expand his reach under the Compass umbrella. Ben hails from a family of brokers and property developers from the West Coast whose experiences have included large-scale development projects, subdivisions, and classic brokerage. This diverse background has served Ben well during his time in New York. While based on the Upper West Side of Manhattan since his college days, Ben has expanded his business throughout New York City, spanning from Harlem to Brooklyn. Ben served on the board of his Hell's Kitchen condo for several years and has been the top sales and leasing agent there since the building's inception. Presently living on the Upper West Side with his wife and daughters, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and volunteering with the Red Cross.
