Marilyn Korn

Marilyn Korn’s career in real estate has spanned over 30 years. She owned and operated Marilyn Korn Real Estate as an independent firm, since the 1980s. Her love for real estate began when she and her husband purchased a brownstone in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn with 3 other couples and renovated and converted the building into a cooperative.

In 1979. Marilyn was recruited by a Chicago Real Estate Company to be part of a team to represent them in the conversion of 10 West 66th Street into a cooperative. When completed in May of 1981, Marilyn stayed on to complete the sales of the unsold apartments for the sponsor. That experience resulted in a thorough understanding of the coop process which has been instrumental in helping to guide her clientele through the twists and turns of their own real estate transactions.

Since the mid 80s, she has listed and sold hundreds of apartments for her very loyal clients. She has facilitated the sales of apartments through many generations of families and has been fortunate to have made many friends along the way.
